Thank you to Catholic Campus Ministries at Christopher Newport for letting Molly and I drive down and capture the event! Yes, I did say MOLLY! My big kids are becoming great assistants and I love it! This gig became an out of the way pit stop for us as we meandered towards Maryland’s Eastern Shore and my mom’s house.
This tour is promoting Audrey’s new album “Fortunate Fall” and you should just go ahead and buy that here. I really appreciate the depth to her music. She is one of those artists whose talents I am just amazed by- I give her all the stars! Audrey also has John Tibbs with her on this leg of the tour. I’ll tell you that Molly and I bought both EPs he had and they were fantastic company for the long drive to my mom’s after the show! I’m linking right here to “ANCHOR” and “Swallowing Death, Breathing Life” !
Here is a picture of Molly with John Tibbs!
John Tibbs doing his thing! He has a fantastic sound!
Another friend of Audrey’s, Ennie Hickman, spoke about Adore Ministries -because, you know, we need missionaries right here in the USA too. Check out their page to see more about there mission.
I should have set my assistant about keeping track of the set list, alas, I did not think of it
One of the encore songs was “Sparrow”. It was a big hit with the Nashville Sisters. Audrey took a moment after she finished the song to say that that was the first she had ever seen sisters have such a *YES!* reaction as they realized what song they were being treated to!!
Wow! You have to check out the STUNNING images that are in this little e-book! Thanks again to Heather of Fairyography for organizing and inspiring us all! My inspiration also came from some creative live workshop time. My images are mixed with overlays of textures that I made out of old National Geographic magazines and a yummy smelling cleaner. I had a great time making some art with some awesomely talented people!!! Be sure to follow their links and check out their other work!
